Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. I called Family Health Centers Headache Clinic hoping to learn how to become a new patient and seek treatment for chronic migraine symptoms. Unfortunately, my experience with the scheduling staff was beyond disappointing. I repeatedly explained that I was simply trying to find out what was required to schedule a new patient appointment, but the conversation felt confusing, dismissive, and unnecessarily difficult. As someone seeking help while actively suffering from migraine symptoms, a little patience and kindness would have gone a long way. While I understand providers may not be accepting new patients, I left the call feeling frustrated and unsupported rather than informed. The receptionist was snarky, kept cutting me off and made me feel uncomfortable and rushed with even the simplest questions. I hope the clinic can improve the way new patient inquiries are handled, especially for people already dealing with significant health challenges.

I was set to have a follow up with a pharmacist and was in very good spirits as I have been making excellent progress on my health journey. I'm not sure if the pharmacist was having a bad day, or was upset with me for choosing an alternate method to get my medication that was more cost effective, but her tone of speech, and word choice was negative. She left the room and had a completely different person finish up with me. It made me feel like I was getting scolded, weird energy. I am proud of myself for what I've accomplished and if this is just another person doubting my ability to win, stay tuned. I hope she has a better day and maybe learns some empathy.

Dr. Jennifer Hall is the best. She super personable, witty and a straight shooter. She is very through doesn't rush through your appointment what-so-ever and makes sure all of your questions are answered before moving onto the next patient. Occasionally I have had to wait a few mins in the room but I never mind because I know she's giving the patient before me the same great care and she always apologizes even though the wait is less than every other dr. office by far. She is also mindful of your insurance as well. Our family, including my mother who hates all doctors adores her! We drive almost an hour each way just to see her.

I love this team. I've been a patient of Dr. KUROWSKI FOR CLOSE TO 20 yrs. He is the best doctor. He listens, and follows up and thru. He cares and show it. The nurses are amazing πŸ‘πŸ½ they are so sweet.

I cannot say enough bad things about this office and the Asheville branch. Disappointing 'support' from office staff. So RUDE. Twice I've called in to request my medical records be mailed to me and on my second call they have no record of my first call, when I express concerned about this, the woman I spoke with, Shannon, was quite rude to me and even raised her voice. I do not recommend this doctor's office. Shockingly, I still have not received my records and today spent another 30 minutes on hold being transferred around by rude women who don't know what they're doing or how to help anyone until finally speaking to someone helpful named Christine.
